I am a motivated UX designer and researcher based in Cologne, Germany.
Specializing in user experience design, with an interest in user research and UX writing.
I love doing self-explanatory, value-adding interaction design, qualitative and quantitative media psychological research, formative and summative design research, inspirational corporate communications, catchy copywriting and much coffee colored #000000.
In my leisure time I attend conferences, compose film music, program synthesizers, or stand somewhere behind a microphone or piano.
My mission is transforming complex problems into enjoyable interaction experiences. I also love pushing people to pursue higher goals and inspire them to take bolder ideas.
I studied media communication with a strong focus on media psychology, research methods and HCI at the University of Würzburg, gave tutorials to younger students and worked as a research intern at the Chair of Media Psychology. I was honored to be allowed to present a self-developed, evaluated psychometric scale at a psychology conference – „Humans in evolutionary perspective“.
Show morePreviously I studied copywriting at the Texterschmiede Hamburg and learned from award-winning leaders in the advertising industry while I was helping Fielmann, Weltbild, Conrad and others finding their perfectly fitting lines at VASATASCHRÖDER, a leading agency. And prior to that I had a decade of professional experience as a communications designer in marketing agencies and international groups.
Currently, I’m enrolled in the guest student program at the Faculty of Human Sciences at the University of Cologne to keep up with the latest scientific approaches. Simultaneously I’m completing an Interaction Design Nanodegree program at the University of California San Diego.
